The kokenochaya offers buckwheat, Tororo soba. It
is buckwheat noodle with grated yam, the yolk of a fresh egg and
green laver a kind of dried seaweed.
The yam is cropped at Tamba Sasayama.
The green of the dried seaweed on the white yam
reminds the moss of Saihoji Temple (Koke-dera).
You can also take a rest with coffe and Japanese
sweets after visiting temples.
There are famous temples :
*Saiho-ji (Moss temple) *Jizo-In (Bamboo temple) *Kegon-temple
(Insect temple)
which are 3 minutes walk from here.
